Coastline STR Consulting was founded by a law enforcement professional with over 15 years of experience across bylaw enforcement, healthcare security, and public safety.
Most recently serving as a Bylaw Officer, Short-Term Rental Investigator, and Business Licence Inspector with the City of Victoria, Nelson worked directly on short-term rental compliance, property inspections, and bylaw enforcement — giving him firsthand knowledge of exactly what inspectors look for and what causes applications to be rejected.
His background also includes serving as an Alberta Sheriff, Park Ranger with the City of Vancouver, Protection Services Peace Officer with Alberta Health Services, and Level 1 CPTED certification — bringing a depth of enforcement experience that goes well beyond licensing paperwork.
